Orkies' Journal 30 April 1971April 30, 1971 Having successfully completed our portage across the Sinai, we sped
down the Gulf of Aqaba and around to Yemen and boldly steamed into the
port of Aden.
At the commercial tea jetty we saw the sign of the Great Yemen Tea
Company. ("Yemen Tea, very gritty; but with Yemen flour it's neat -
but drink it fast before it sets 'cause it's impossible to
eat"). Fortunately we brought our own supply along.
Shortly, now, we'll be on our way to the equator, Zanzibar, and - the
reat adventure!
