Great news! Early today I have arranged with the officials of the
Sultan of Zanzibar to finally release us and our worthy vessels from
this devastatingly unendurable quarantine. Some of our fleet is
already underway and should be at this writing rounding the Cape of
Good 'Ope where the weather I'm told is becoming a bit snotty. Once
clearing Lands End in South Africa we will proceed with the utmost
haste on our long overdue journey to New York. Our expedition and crew
members now reflect the highest of spirits and are looking forward to
a hero's welcome from the stockholders whom I know will not disappoint
them. I myself am at the peak of altitudinous joy and the only thing
that would make me happier is if this ruddy wind and rain would stop.
Ta ta for now
