Math and Science Success

Each year the middle school at WAB takes standardized math and science tests that are also taken by students across the Asia-Pacific region, as developed by an Australian university. 2 million students take the tests in math and science.

Last year, in grade 7, Aaron got "High Achievement" in both the math and the science test. "High Achievement" means top 1% of the students taking the test. WAB as a school did well over average, but Aaron was the only one to get top 1% in both tests. Yay!

The original plan was to update these pages regularly so all could keep up to date with us in China. Well, it didn't turn out that way. As an illustration, Aaron's accomplishments jump pretty much from making his own pillow in home ec to starting his physics post-doc at Harvard Maybe I Missed a few years?
