The greater Newtown Historical and Anthropological
Societys' Abominable Snowman expedition today is making
ready to transport its' prize down to Baligam at the
foot of mighty Mount Gehezutsu to begin the homeward
journey via the Tashagong, Brahmaputra and Chickchar
Railway to Rangoon and thereafter, by sea on an expedition
vessel.
The captive awoke this morning with a rather formidable
lump on its' head but not much more the worse for wear.
The expeditions' Mr. Dirk Humble took a large amount of
motion picture footage of the creature and then discovered
that he had forgotten to remove the camera lens' dust
cover. More film is being rushed from Rangoon and will
arrive tomorrow. Mr. Humble is hence forth assigned to
cage cleaning duties.
Sir Orkney Urrd, expedition leader, is fair splitting with
joy and anticipation. In reference to the downmountain
trek Sir Orkney said: "Just like Winchester Cathedral,
l'm bringin' 'Im down". (A barrel of laughs, that Sir
Orkney).
